Earlier this year the Green Artists’ League debuted their “Air Your Dirty Laundry” Installation at Fowle’s Coffee Shop in Newburyport, MA. Above is a sketch using a photo of a portion of this installation that was submitted to give an idea of how this installation will be adapted for the 10th Annual Maudslay State Park Outdoor Sculpture Exhibit in Newburyport, which will run from Sunday, September 14th, 2008 through Sunday, October 5th, 2008. Members of the Green Artists‘ League will be on hand at the installation from 1 P.M. to 3 P.M., weather permitting, on Sundays while the exhibit is running, and on Saturday, September 20th, the day of the official opening, from 3 P.M. to 6 P.M.,
The second photo was taken at Maudslay on the first weekend of the exhibit. Participants can write their own eco-confessions on articles of clothing on Sunday afternoons during the show’s run, and then hang them on the line. GAL members supply the clothing, markers, and clothespins!
